I'm Christine Capone, the lead designer and CEO here at Main Street Web studio. I am so excited to work with you on your website project. I've been designing and developing websites since 2009 and have refined my skills with using WordPress and the Genesis framework.
Your website is not only your full-time employee but is also a true representation of who you are, what you do, and who you choose to serve. Let's build yours.
You may be wondering what to expect when working with me on Main Street. Below, is a brief look at what happens around here.
What to Expect
You know that in order to stand out, your business needs a professional appearance.
You need a website that not only looks great ( on all devices )
Here on Main Street, each client website is carefully crafted to showcase your content and your business personality.
Your site will be easy to manage and update as you grow due to it being built on the WordPress platform with only the most premium framework and bells and whistles.
We prefer to build on the Genesis framework to ensure that your website is clean-coded, SEO optimized, and mobile responsive.
Empowering others is important and so, after the website is complete, you will be granted access to over 150 video tutorials that cover everything that you will need to know about managing your new site as well as continuous email support.
Depending upon the complexity of the project, most take 4-6 weeks from start to finish. note: Must have all content prepared prior to project start date. Communication is key to finishing on projected timeline. Before your scheduled start date, you will be given a series of tasks to complete, as well as a list of what will be needed in order to begin.
What You Need to Bring to the Table
Pinterest is a wonderful way to compile visual ideas. You and I will begin pinning images that you feel represent your overall "mood" of your new website. Upon completion of this step, you will receive a mood/inspiration board that will give us both a glimpse at how the website will look and feel. Then, we will again meet over coffee to discuss the project.
Through a series of detailed questionnaires, we will discover things like who your ideal client is, how we can appeal to them and what exactly your website needs to do in order to function specifically for your business. This ensures that your new site is more than something pretty to look at. It will also be maximized to give you more time to do what you do.
Content is King/Queen
A website should always be built around the content, in order to be a success. Before we begin design and development of your custom website, you will need to gather all of your written content as well as any imagery that you will be providing. Instructions on how to properly deliver that will be included in your client welcome guide.
