I absolutely loved working with Jessica English from Apple Brides, the well known wedding online publication of the Northwest. Jessica had a vision of a clean and sophisticated look for the well established website. It needed to have clean lines, be chic and fashion-forward, yet still beautiful enough to enhance the amazing bridal photography that graces the home page of Apple Brides. I was able to bring that vision to life by using a very sophisticated color palette of deep reds, black, and gold, and using the ever so beautiful Divine child theme for the Genesis framework created by Restored316, the results are magical.
The Color Palette and Inspiration
We wanted to achieve a look that was very high fashion and chic yet still show the traditional side of the wedding industry and after days of combining ideas on Pinterest, we began to see the beautiful brand come to life. A bit unexpected and fun yet so beautiful.
The Branding
We spent quite a bit of time combining fonts and looks for the logo and we decided that it needed to mix sophistication with a bit of the unexpected and finally, the logo came to life.
THE WEBSITE
Beautifully functional and built solid on the Genesis framework. The site is responsive (looks great on any device) and really carries the wonderful images that are the main focus of the home page. I am honored to have and continue to work with the staff at Apple Brides and wish them all much success in the future. Take a look at the live site here: AppleBrides.com
